CAVITEX INFRASTRUCTURE CORPORATION is a CRS oriented organization with various projects promoting environment preservation, community health and wellness, sports for the youth and road safety. CAVITEX recently conducted a medical mission together with Asian Health Hospital Medical Center, SureChoice Pharma, and Barangay San Dionisio Health Center. The activity was held at Parañaque Elementary School Central.
With over 70 volunteers, more than 300 patients were served and provided with medical assistance. Most of the patients were children and were examined by volunteers Dra. Patricia Panopio and Dra. Anna Lou Baclea–an of Asian Hospital. According to the pediatricians, most children have the common cold, fever and sore throat. Although some children were diagnosed with skin rashes, allergies as well as weight complications that needed more serious medical attention. As for the adults and senior citizen patients, their ailments were mostly high blood pressure, joint and muscle pains. Women were also provided with breast examination conducted by nurse volunteers.
The activity is part of a series of medical missions to be held in various barangays surrounding CAVITEX.
