About CAVITEX

The Manila – Cavite Toll Expressway Project or CAVITEX brings travel safety and convenience. It consists of the operational R-1 and R1 extension, which traverses the Coast of Manila and connects the Roxas Boulevard to Cavite, with 2 toll plazas namely Paranaque Toll Plaza and Kawit Toll Plaza.

Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (“CIC”) was incorporated on 09 October 1995 primarily to undertake the design, construction, and financing of the Manila-Cavite Expressway Project. The Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway Project – MCTEP more popularly known as CAVITEX is composed of 5 segments.

The CAVITEX C5 Link, is now under construction linking Paranaque to Taguig with an operational flyover crossing SLEX linking Taguig to Merville. Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC), its Joint Venture Partner of the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA), and PRA’s subsidiary PEA Tollways Corporation (PEATC)  performs the operation and maintenance of CAVITEX.

The first and fourth segments is a continuous 14-km expressway along the coast of Bacoor Bay after south of Roxas Boulevard which exits to Bacoor City and Kawit.

Location

It is located 11 kilometers from Manila capital of the Philippines and seven kilometers from the NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport).

CAVITEX C5 LINK

The second and third segment of CAVITEX, this 7.7-kilometer urban expressway starts from the Carlos P. Garcia Avenue in Taguig, boasts of a flyover that crosses SLEX-Skyway, and will connect to the first segment CAVITEX by the Coast of Manila. It will provide easier travel from Taguig, Makati, Pasay, Pasig, Quezon City and northern areas of Manila, Las Pinas and Cavite province.

This features a modern toll way system with traffic management and safety measures that are at par with international standards.
